A Strong Folding Knife
61
Built Strong
I designed this folder to be exceptionally strong. The thickness of the blade is 3/16" which is much thicker than the normal 1/8" of many folders. The tip is constructed at an angle of 84 degrees. This steep angle combined with a thick blade allows the knife to withstand much greater stress without breaking the tip. There are many tasks while camping, fishing or hunting that may require a person to pry with the knife. The great strength will help virtually eliminate the tip from breaking. The bolster area is reinforced with three black screws to increase the strength of this area. The handle is made of black canvas micarta which is very durable and weatherproof. This knife also has a raised spacer on the handle. The raised spacer combined with the micarta handle provides a very secure grip while using the knife. The knife is satin finished and is designed for outdoor use. I have provided a video below showing how the knife is durable and keeps an edge. I harden and temper my own blades assuring the highest quality. The "Hercules" liner lock folder is a strong folder that can be counted on in the field.
